CSR Welding Development Program in SSB Berau, East Kalimantan, has been running smoothly from November 11th, 2019 until January 27th, 2020. As many as 16 participants who live around the company's operational area have received training on SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and Gouging welding techniques.
In addition to providing welding techniques, students also receive behavioral competencies material as well related to 5S, company core values, and basic safety. All participants have completed their on-the-job training well at SSB Balikpapan and Samarinda.
On March 13th, 2020, all participants received a certificate from BNSP for their successful completion of the Welding Development Program. The certificate handover was carried out by Mr. Afriman Djafri as the representative of SSB management, Mr. Horas P. Pardede as the management representative of PT Berau Coal which is a loyal partner of SSB in Berau area and Mr. Suhartono as the Head of BLK Balikpapan.
