Indonesia Miners 2025
SSB was proud to present as a speaker at the Indonesia Miner 2025 event, representing PERTAABI (Indonesian Heavy Equipment Expert Association). On this occasion, we shared our perspective on how the mining industry is currently faced with VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) conditions. Through Hauling Solutions and Material Handling Solutions, SSB presents technology-based innovations that focus on increasing productivity and operational sustainability. Some of the innovative products displayed include Light Body and Bucket Optiload, Side Dump Trailer, Water Tank on OHT, Expanding Pin Bondura, and anti-sticky material LinePro S. This is a real response from SSB in addressing the VUCA challenges in the mining industry. Through collaboration and the spirit of knowledge sharing in forums like this, SSB continues to strengthen its commitment to supporting the advancement of the heavy equipment and mining industry in Indonesia.
June 2025Palfinger APAC Owners Club Indonesia : Together for Optimal Performance
Sanggar Sarana Baja, in collaboration with Palfinger, held a Customer Gathering in South Jakarta. Titled *Together for Optimal Performance: The Synergy of SSB & Palfinger Technologies*, the event was part of the Palfinger APAC Owners Club Indonesia Series. Attended by more than 35 guests from 15 companies, the event began with the delivery of Palfinger Crane product information, SSB's engineering perspective in developing Mounted Cranes, unit trials by invited guests, and concluded with a moment of appreciation for several of SSB's loyal customers. Some of the customers who attended included Cipta Kridatama, Chakra Jawara, Trakindo, Putra Perkasa Abadi, BUMA, Sapta Indrasejati, Petrosea, Bumi Suksesindo, and several other companies.
November 2024Mining Expo 2023 (Part of Trakindo Utama)
Being part of PT Trakindo Utama's booth at the Mining Expo 2023 event (September 13–16, 2023), SSB displayed the Solar Trailer. As part of Trakindo, SSB participated in this event by opening a booth (outdoor space) at the largest energy and heavy equipment industry event in Southeast Asia.
September 2023SSB Joins HARDOX IN MY BODY (SSAB Program)
Through the HIMB program, both SSB and SSAB continuously carry out strategic collaboration (product development, marketing, etc.). HIMB (Hardox in My Body) is a program supported by SSAB as the manufacturer of Hardox steel plate materials. SSB, as part of HIMB, benefits from the latest information regarding SSAB's ongoing product development. The collaboration emerged because SSAB recognized the potential of SSB as one of the heavy equipment manufacturing companies in Indonesia. Therefore, both parties hope for the establishment of a positive collaboration. The HIMB SSAB event took place on September 26, 2023, at the SSB Cikupa Workshop, and included the presentation of SSB's membership certificate in the HIMB program, a meeting between SSB and SSAB management, and documentation of several units of Optiload SSB Body 120 m³ (for Coal) as one of the production units utilizing Hardox Material.
August 2023Palfinger and SSB Golf Day 2023 in Bali
Through the annual SSB Golf Day event, PT Sanggar Sarana Baja (SSB) collaborated with Palfinger to launch the Palfinger Asia Pacific (APAC) Owners Club in Bali. PT Sanggar Sarana Baja (SSB), in collaboration with Palfinger, launched the Palfinger Asia Pacific (APAC) Owners Club in Bali, which is expected to optimize market utilization, implement the latest appropriate technology, and establish solid partnerships with Palfinger Crane customers in the country. This activity also reflects SSB's commitment to providing superior services, maintaining good relations, and serving as a forum for effective communication with consumers.
July 2023National Seminar and Business Talks (PERTAABI)
SSB was one of the speakers in the National Seminar and Business Talks entitled "Technology as a Solution in Mining Operations, and Management of Heavy Equipment as One of the Company's Assets." SSB was represented by Ahmad Solihin Mazza from the Product Development Team, who introduced one of SSB's flagship products, OPTILOAD, as a solution to increase the productivity of mining operations. On the same occasion, SSB also participated by opening an exhibition booth to showcase a number of company capabilities to the invited guests. SSB's participation in this event represents a concrete effort to enhance the passion of the Indonesian mining industry, which is expected to boost the national economy in the future.
February 2023SSB Wins Best Heavy Equipment Distributor Aftersales & Maintenance in Mining Services Award 2022.
SSB successfully became one of the awardees in the Indonesia Mining Services Awards 2022 for the Aftersales & Maintenance category of Heavy Equipment Distributor, held in Bali. The Mining Services Business Annual Meeting, organized by the Indonesian Mining Services Association (ASPINDO) together with TAMBANG Magazine, is the only event that provides recognition for companies engaged in mining services and other supporting services.

December 2022Indonesia Mineral Mining Industry Conference and Expo 2022
PT Sanggar Sarana Baja (SSB) together with other ABM Group subsidiaries, PT Cipta Krida Bahari (CKB) and PT Cipta Kridatama (CK) are participating as tenants at the Indonesia Mineral Mining Industry Conference and Expo 2022. Titled "Potential, Utilization, and Management of Critical and Strategic Minerals Domestically and Abroad," this event was held in Bandung on 29–30 November 2022. It is hoped that in the future, SSB will gain greater recognition from the wider community, mining industry players, and students who attended, as a manufacturing and engineering company in Indonesia committed to providing the highest quality products and services to its customers.
December 2022SSB Launched The New SSB Sebamban Workshop
SSB inaugurated the newest workshop facility in Sebamban which will be a one stop solution, with superior services Salvaging, Recondition Component, Refurbish & Major Fabrication. SSB launched its newest 1.7-hectare workshop facility located in Sungai Loban District, Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan Province. With this inauguration, SSB aims to become a one-stop solution for all customer needs in South Kalimantan, addressing complex requirements such as salvaging, component reconditioning, refurbishing, and major fabrication, while demonstrating its commitment to continuously increasing customer satisfaction and trust. The workshop serves as a hub for company services, reducing lead time for mining component reconditioning that previously had to be shipped outside the region. With more comprehensive services and a location closer to mining customers, the SSB Sebamban workshop is expected to be a one-stop mining support solution, enhancing operational effectiveness and efficiency for its customers.
November 2022SSB Golf Day 2022
PT Sanggar Sarana Baja holds a golf tournament titled SSB Golf Day 2022 in Tanjung Bara-Jadita, East Kalimantan This tournament was attended by customers in the mining industry, including representatives from PT Kaltim Prima Coal, PT Trakindo Utama, PT Pamapersada Nusantara, PT Thiess, PT Intec, PT Cipta Kridatama, PT Chakra Jawara, PT Cipta Krida Bahari, PT Chitra Paratama, and several other companies in the Kalimantan area.
September 2022Virtual Showcase Optiload
SSB released a Dump Body product called Optiload. Introduced online through the event 'Virtual Product Showcase: Optiload', SSB introduced Optiload as problem solver in operational lines such as increasing mining productivity, unit availability, and the effectiveness of unit delivery times.
